Nanoparticles in natural mineral waters. Measurement procedure and results

We have described and tested a procedure for measuring nanoparticle sizes in natural mineral waters, using an analyzer based on dynamic light scattering. We present the results of measurement of the particle size distribution in samples of several waters. We show that the nanoparticle size distribution is individual for each type of natural mineral water, and can be used as an identification parameter for its certification. © 2010 Springer Science+Business Media, Inc.
