Study of the erosion of the coastal slope on meandering sections of rivers in the permafrost zone

Due to the peculiarities of the structure of the earth's surface, all rivers are more or less meandering, including rivers in the northern regions, in the permafrost. In turn, such rivers change the earth's landscape, depending on the geographical location, climatic conditions and underlying surface, which directly affects the constructions and objects located there, especially in a warming climate. Many researchers have studied meanders, obtained cross-section schemes of the riverbed turning area, other researchers have found flow equations for the riverbed turning area, but no one has studied meandering in the permafrost zone. In the hydraulic laboratory, for the first time, experiments were conducted to study the erosion of the coastal slope on a weaving section in conditions simulating the permafrost. A system of equations describing the movement of sediments in such areas is obtained on the basis of the previously received equation of sediment transport in the conditions of frozen rocks.
