Aerodynamic surfaces for space and navy structures

Aerodynamic surfaces are the surfaces of floating bodies created by nature or man. These surfaces can be defined by three curves lying in three main coordinate planes, as well as by an implicit equation of the whole surface. There is a rather wide range of the surfaces which can be used for space and navy structures, but most of them are not known by designers and engineers. The purpose of this work is to introduce aerodynamic surfaces to engineers from space and navy industry. Implicit equations are given along with the analysis of geometry and some predictions about the stress-strain behavior of these surfaces. © 2021, Univelt Inc. All rights reserved.
