Coordination Compounds of Transition Metals with Monooximes of 9,10-Phenanthrenequinone and Its Nitroderivatives

The complexes of copper(II), nickel(II), iron(III), chromium(III), and cobalt(III) with 9,10-phenanthrenequinone monooxime (L1), 2-nitrophenanthrenequinone monooxime (L2), 2,7-dinitrophenanthrenequinone monooxime (L3), 2,5-dinitrophenanthrenequinone monooxime (L4), and 2,4,7-trinitrophenanthrenequinone monooxime (L5) were synthesized. The crystal and molecular structure of CuL1 2 · 2DMSO was determined. The structure of the obtained compounds was considered on the basis of the IR and electronic absorption spectroscopical data.
