Conference Human Biochemistry #berëzov2024 Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Temirbolat Berëzov

The 100th anniversary of the birth of Academician Temirbolat Berëzov, the founder of the Department of Biochemistry at the People's Friendship University (RUDN), is celebrated on October 19, 2024. As a scientist, teacher, and public person, Temirbolat Berëzov followed the best traditions of the Russian school of biochemistry represented by A.E. Braunshtein, B.I. Zbarskii, S.R. Mardashev, and S.E. Severin. This enabled the scientist to transmit these traditions to a new generation of researchers and to create his own scientific school. Temirbolat Berëzov put many efforts into the elaboration of teaching methodology and education materials. The fundamental textbook Biological Chemistry was the main result of this work. There were three editions of this book, and all medical students used this textbook for more than 30 years
