The review aims to introduce the collective study “The Perspective of Sustainable Development. Appeal to Global and Latin American Realities", carried out by a cluster of researchers from the Institute of Latin American Studies (Russian Academy of Sciences). It provides a wide and lavish description of the monograph, including the place this book holds in the modern studies about Latin American realities and sustainable development. The authors approaches and points of view are utmost fresh and innovative. They make it quite possible to draw some outright parallels between the local, national, macro-regional, and global scopes of sustainable development.
