Franchise dispute resolution in Vietnam

Franchise disputes are quite complex today and the methods to resolve these disputes are used by the parties often through court proceedings or alternative disputes such as negotiation, mediation, and arbitration. The general trend in Vietnam is to use a combination of dispute settlement methods to deliver the best results. Negotiation will be applied by the parties first, then mediation, if the parties cannot resolve through negotiation. If mediation still does not work, the dispute will eventually be resolved through arbitration or court.
