Educational policy of the European union, Turkey and Russia with respect to Georgia at the beginning of the xxi century

This article attempts to examine the use of the attractiveness of higher education as a tool of long-term political influence. The geopolitical significance of Georgia determines the willingness of various world politics actors to strengthen their influence in Georgia and the region as a whole. The authors of the article, relying on the concept of «soft power», examined the policy of the European Union, Turkey and Russia in the educational sphere in relation to Georgia. Particular attention was paid to the existing relations in the field of higher education between Georgia and those actors.
