Results of ex vivo investigation of new ophthalmic solution for riboflavin-uv-absorbance induced cross-linking of thin corneas

The effectiveness of corneal riboflavin saturation through instillation of solutions for UV cross-linking was studied in ex vivo experiments on porcine eyes. In addition, the effect of solutions on the comea thickness was studied and a new ophthalmological agent containing riboflavin and chitosan succinate for UV absorbance-induced collagen cross-linking of thin corneas was proposed. © 2018 Izdatel'stvo Meditsina.
