СОПОСТАВЛЕНИЕ КОНЦЕПТОВ AMERICA И RUSSIA В АМЕРИКАНСКОЙ ЯЗЫКОВОЙ КАРТИНЕ МИРА

В статье проводится сопоставление содержания концептов AMERICA и RUSSIA в американской языковой картине мира. Содержание концептов моделируется на основе данных свободного ассоциативного эксперимента. Установлено, что содержание концепта AMERICA в сознании носителей ее лингвокультуры является результатом большей когнитивной обработки, чем содержание концепта RUSSIA, представленного в основном наглядно-чувственными образами.

The article compares the content of the concepts AMERICA and RUSSIA in the American language picture of the world. The content of the concepts is modeled on the basis of the data from a free associative experiment. It is established that the content of the concept AMERICA in the minds of the speakers of its linguistic culture is the result of more cognitive processing than the content of the concept RUSSIA, represented mainly by visual and sensory images.
