The three-dimensional simulation framework for interference and SIR assessment

Within the framework of stochastic geometry, the performance of modern wireless networks is conventionally assessed using two-dimensional models. However, as the wireless systems evolve further, the role of the third dimension may start to play an important role. The underlying reasons are the projected use of highly directional antennas and different heights of communicating entities. In this work, we build a simulation tool for interference and SIR characterization in three-dimensional network deployments
