Raman scattering of the laser radiation in magnetized plasma

The numerical simulation of Raman scattering for the laser radiation propagating across the external magnetic field is made. It is shown that at the linear stage of Raman instability the magnetic field reduces the forward scattering increment and increases the backward scattering increment. The stochastic heating of electrons in the backward scattering region is enhanced with increasing the magnetic field.
