STRUCTURAL-SEMANTIC FEATURES OF PROPER NOUNS IN BRITISH ECONOMIC DISCOURSE

Economic discourse is attracting more and more attention of researchers, because, despite its importance in the modern world, it remains insufficiently studied. The objective of this article is to consider structural-semantic features of proper nouns in British economic discourse by conducting structural-semantic analysis. The results of the research show that proper nouns of different types which are found in the articles of economic discourse can perform various syntactic functions in a sentence.
