Analysis of the Impact of Parameters on the Efficiency of the Thermodynamic Cycle af a Compressorless Combined Cycle Gas Turbine

Abstract A mathematical model is developed for a cogeneration compressorless combined cycle gas turbine with a wide range of independent control of the thermal and electrical loads and removal of carbon dioxide from the cycle, formed as a result of fuel combustion, in the liquid phase. Calculations are carried out to analyze the mutual effect of the main parameters of the thermal circuit on the characteristics of the cycle. It is shown that in a compressorless cycle, an efficiency factor for the supply of electricity, close to the values of the best technologies for combined cycle gas turbines, can be achieved. At the same time, a compressorless installation, together with electricity, can also produce useful heat. The cogeneration of electricity and heat makes it possible to achieve a fuel utilization factor, relative to the higher calorific value of the fuel, in excess of 90%.
