Danuše Kšicova's Cultural Studies of Russian Art in the Educational Process of the Russian State Pedagogical University

The article is devoted to the work of the outstanding Czech philologist and cultural critic Danuše Kšicova (1932-2017) and the implementation of her scientific ideas in the practice of Pedagogical University. After reviewing D. Kšicova research, the authors reveal the pedagogical potential of her works and the methodological features of teaching students based on the book Drama and Theater in the Modern and Avant-Garde Era . Based on the scientific research of D. Kšicova, the algorithm of cultural research was determined. The article presents an educational analysis of various productions of Chekhov's play “the Seagull” in the framework proposed by Danuše Kšicova. The structure of the Аrt Nouveau style analysis was based on the cultural heritage of the Russian Diaspora (the Russian national community outside Russia).
