ФЭНТЕЗИ И КАТЕГОРИЯ ФАНТАСТИЧЕСКОГО В АНГЛИЙСКОЙ ЛИТЕРАТУРЕ (НА ПРИМЕРЕ ТВОРЧЕСТВА ДЖ.Р.Р. ТОЛКИНА)

В данной статье рассматривается категория фантастического как основа литературных изысканий английских авторов, итогом которых стало создание нового литературного жанра – фэнтези. Анализ построен на произведениях Дж. Р. Р. Толкина, для которого «фанстастическое» является инструментом для переложения поэтологических идей в словесную плоскость и основой для авторского мифотворчества.

The article deals with the concept “fantastic” as the basis of literary research of English authors, the result of which was a new literary genre – fantasy. The aim of this work is to analyze the development of the category of the fantastic and its reflection in the fantasy literature of J.R.R. Tolkien, which has become a model of fantasy works. The substantiation of the category of the fantastic is a tool for translating fantastic ideas into the material plane in the form of creating the author's myth-making.
