The paper studies the concept of soil monitoring as a scientific direction, its principles and possibilities of application in urban space. Remote monitoring makes it possible to avoid unnecessary human and time expenditures when analyzing soils, allows for more selective and precise coverage of large areas, reveals problem zones and zones with the best indicators in a short time. This practice is increasingly being used as an agro-support in the study of park and forest spaces in the city.
