Different aspects of training interpreters in various settings have become a widely discussed topic in modern educational environment. Earlier the question of whether all students can be trained as interpreters was examined (Belenkova, 2015). The purpose of this paper is to study what problems not mature interpreters face when they start their independent interpreting career. The opinions of undergraduates and graduates who have been working in legal and public settings are focused on. The findings of the survey held are observed and generalized. The recommendations on how fresh interpreters can be assisted in getting over their professional problems and developing their skills are provided. (C) 2017 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
