To the question of the history of zoo protection in Russia and Germany: Experience, prospects of interaction

The article examines the process of historical development of animal protection in Russia and Germany in the XIX—XXI centuries. The authors came to the conclusion that in the course of the historical process to the present moment in both countries there has been a solid legislative base in the field of animal protection.
