Improving the quality of titanium alloy parts used in the space industry

The influence of surface plastic deformation on the surface layer roughness and fatigue strength of titanium alloy parts is considered. Statistical analysis of experimental data is carried out. The dependence of roughness change on the value of load on the treated surface, fatigue crack propagation in titanium alloys on the state of the surface layer is established. Comparative analysis of the carrying capacity of gas turbine engine blades made of BT-3, BT-6 alloys with the use of Autodesk Fusion 360 software product is carried out. © 2021, Univelt Inc.
