Methods for joint processing of geophysics and remote sensing data for forecasting oil-bearing capacity in cÔte de ivoire

Development and analysis of geological, seismic, and geophysical data jointly submitted by remote sensing was carried out to identify the tectonic structures of the Atlantic Ocean expansion from the Cretaceous to the present and to identify the stratigraphic horizon that is most promising for the accumulation of hydrocarbons. Using a systematic approach, previously unknown structural elements that are associated with the expansion of the Atlantic Ocean from the Cretaceous to the present time and control the oil and gas fields are identified. Previously unknown fault zones were identified, which were confirmed by the interpretation of geophysical data complexes: seismic, gravity, and magnetic exploration together with the interpretation of satellite images. Stratigraphic horizons containing turbidites are identified as the most promising oil-containing deposits. © 2021, Univelt Inc. All rights reserved.
