Contemporary transportation applications as new forms of social construction technology

This paper aims to analyze some linkages between Human, theory social construction technology, and contemporary transportation applications in modem society. New media technology can connect one person to another without being limited by time and space. Go-Jek and Yandex.taxi platform application is one of the concrete examples of the implementation of the social construction of new media technologies. The digital transportation platform revolution was born from the need for cheaper, faster, safe, effective, and efficient transportation services. This is one of the impacts of the 4.0 industrial revolution in various countries in Asia. © 2021 IEEE.
