Images of the Crimean War

The paper proves that through the image in the Russian language consciousness of the second half of the XIX century comprehends the world event, the Crimean War. The significant images include images of Russian and foreign politicians, public figures, commanders etc. The images-symbols of war, the glory of the Russians and the betrayal of Russia and the Russians belong to the images of the inanimate world.
