The problem of increasing deviant behavior of adolescents is widespread and requires the development of new approaches to its solution. We considered the basics of moral and aesthetic education in school in a holistic manner. The purpose of our research was to define the concept of moral and aesthetic education in the modern foreign language classroom and develop the structure of moral and aesthetic education. Literature review on education research databases was the main method of the investigation of moral and aesthetic education concept. There is the concept of moral and aesthetic education, organizational and methodological conditions, means of moral and aesthetic education, as well as criteria for evaluating the valuable qualities of students described. It was concluded that the development of selected concepts and their implementation in modern language lessons could positively affect the formation of valuable qualities of adolescents and increase the motivation to learn a foreign language. © 2020 ACM.
