The research investigates into Russian and Chinese cases and analyses national policy features in higher education of two global community key players. It focuses on their relations in terms of educational issues from 1990 to the present through the prism of globalisation. Russia and China are important actors in the globalising world. The analysis of practices used by these countries and their ways to implement the main educational directions is of scientific interest for researchers all over the world.
