Development of a mathematical model of fuel equipment and the rationale for diagnosing diesel engines by moving the injector needle

The article discusses the problem of diagnosing diesel fuel equipment. The most common methods for diagnosing fuel equipment are presented. The rationale for diagnosing the technical condition of the plunger elements of the high pressure fuel pump by moving the injector needle is given. © 2020 IOP Publishing Ltd.
