STATIONARY CHARACTERISTICS OF THE GI/MSP/N/∞ QUEUE WITHGENERAL RENOVATION

Consideration is given to the GI/MSP/n/∞ queue with the general renovation mechanism. General renovation, being the variant of an active queue management mechanism, implies that the queue is controlled only upon customers' departure instants. Upon quitting the system a customer pushes out l customers from the queue with the given probability q(l), if there are more than l customers in the queue and with the probability 0, empties the queue. The analytic method, based on embedded Markov chain technique, is being briefly discussed, which allows one to compute main stationary performance characteristics of the model.
