The methods of determining the amount of 146S particles and the titer of infectious activity of foot and mouth disease virus in mainactivity raw material for vaccine using the reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction in real-time (real-time RT-PCR). Polynomial models of the third degree of the form are presented 3 2 3 2 С146S =-0.0001Ct +0.0081Сt -0.388Ct+8.0851 и ТFMDV = 0.00002·Ct -0.001·Ct -0.2858·Сt+11.455, which allow to measure the concentration of complete viral particles (in g/cm3) and the titer of infectivity of FMDV (lgТЦД50/cm3) based on the values of threshold cycle (Ct) of amplification. The highly sensitive and highly specific method used made it possible to assess quickly and with high reliability the most important quality parameters of non-activated raw materials for the production of anti-vaccine. Degree of correlation of results real-time PCR and traditional methods for the determination of 146S component and titer of FMDV was 95.65-99.17%.
