ANALYSIS OF THE POTENTIAL OF THE DEMAND OF FOREIGN HIGHER EDUCATION BY LATIN AMERICAN ENROLLEES

The author analyzes the factors that influence the demand of foreign higher education by enrollees originating from Latin America. Now the students of the region are the least mobile in the world; however, due to the increasing internationalization of higher education, their quantity will raise. In this sense, Latin American states should determine their own politics on student mobility as an inevitable aspect of international life and the priority destinations of the outbound mobility, taking the national needs into account. This article proposes a mechanism for the analysis of the priority of one or another foreign state as a destination for student mobility outbound from Latin American countries.
