Glass capillary tubes as a high granularity gaseous detector of photons and charged particles

We demonstrate that Glass Capillary Tubes (GCP's) can be combined with high efficiency SbCs and bialkali photocathodes. We also report first results from tests of GCP's combined with solid converters of x-ray photons and with secondary electron emitters.
