Water resources as basis for drinking water supply

The aim of the paper is to analyze the problems of drinking water supply (DWS) in conditions of modern increase of industrial production. The surface and underground resources for DWS are considered and their prospects of further usage are analyzed. A set of measures for ensuring the reliable DWS both for population and industrial enterprises is proposed.
