Выяснено, что ядовитые животные представляют собой большую группу организмов, использующих яды для защиты и нападения. Выявлены некоторые общие черты и особенности механизмов их ядовитости. Такие как ядовитые железы, снабжённые или не снабжённые ранящим устройством, способствующим доставке яда в ткани организма-жертвы, а также ядовитые продукты метаболизма или накопление в организме экзогенных ядов.

It was found out that poisonous animals are a large group of organisms that use poisons for defense and attack. Some common features and peculiarities of the mechanisms of their toxicity have been identified. Such as venom glands, equipped or not equipped with a wounding device that facilitates the delivery of poison to the tissues of the victim's body, as well as toxic metabolic products or the accumulation of exogenous poisons in the body.
