The article is about event marketing. At the very beginning, the name of the concept is given. In the first chapter the history of event marketing is described, how it used to be, and what it changes it has undergone with the advent of the Internet. Then the next chapter presents some events that take place in Russia and the United States, which are quite well known. At the end of this chapter there is a comparison of events that are held in these two countries. The very last chapter is devoted to the differences in event marketing between Russia and the United States. This chapter analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of event marketing in both countries.
