Periodontal Regeneration: Comparison Analysis of Surgical Techniques

Periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by progressive loss of periodontal attachment. The minimally invasive mucogingival surgical techniques can be used in daily practice for the treatment of intraosseous defects and periodontal disease. This literature review is based on an analysis of scientific publications in PubMed, Google Scholar, and eLIBRARY electronic databases. It includes works related to various minimally invasive mucogingival periodontal surgical procedures.After applying the inclusion criteria to the literature, 34 articles were selected for review. The article evaluates the surgical approach for minimally invasive mucogingival periodontal regenerative techniques, comparing and contrasting them. Its purpose is to provide practicing clinicians with an evidence-based foundation for making decisions regarding the choice of regenerative periodontal surgical techniques. © (2024), (University of Dicle).
