For the first time in 2021, prostate cancer took 1st place among other oncological diseases in Western countries. Radical prostatectomy is still the method of choice among the prostate cancer radical therapy. An important unresolved problem remains the rehabilitation, since the overwhelming number of patients in the postoperative period develop sexual dysfunction, urination disorders, which significantly reduces the quality of life. Thus, this condition actualizes the search and development of new approaches to the therapy of erectile function after radical prostatectomy. This literature review presents the results of a literary search of Russian and international databases on the erectile function recovery after radical prostatectomy using platelet rich plasma and extracorporeal shock wave therapy. © 2023 ABV-press Publishing House.
