Making use of the problem-chronological method, the authors analyze Brazil's experience in agro-food sector, developed by new technologies and innovations, and based on reasonable use of natural resources and environmental protection. Through the FAO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean Brazil actively cooperates with FAO in a wide range of matters. In particular, the country takes part in the development of the New FAO Strategy (2022-2031), sets the tasks for Brazil-FAO International Cooperation Program (2023-2027). The undertaking of t e ambitious “Latin America and t e Caribbean wit out unger by 2025” program faces certain hardships in the region, where high rates of hunger, poverty, social instability, and migration problems hold sway. The authors conclude that FAO is stepping up its activities aimed to manage food security in the region and expands its strategic partnership with Brazil in Latin America. © 2023, Iberoamerica (Russian Federation).
