The borderlands of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay experienced a powerful migration influx from Palestine and Lebanon in the middle of the XX century. A common phenomenon among the growing Arab diaspora has become a family business, which has taken a special place in the economy of the border cities of the region. This led to the trade specialization of the cross-border urban agglomeration of Iguazu. The study showed that it was the Arabs, settled on all sides of the “Triple Border” and performed the function of a transnational community, who acted as the main actors of cross-border trade and economic growth of the agglomeration. © (2022), (Iberoamerica (Russian Federation)).
