Results are given of a study of germanium absorption over time by EDE-10P resin in the chloride form and in the mixed chloride-hydroxyl form with different hydroxyl group contents. Experiments indicate that the extent of hydrolysis or, in other words, the extent of replacement of chloride ions by hydroxyl groups, directly affects the magnitude of the maximum for the mean germanium adsorption rate: the maximum is enhanced with increasing hydrolysis of the resin. The time for observation of the maximum is invariant and, as previously found, occurs at 90-120 min.
