POLITICAL LEADERSHIP IN THE CONTEXT OF POWER VERTICAL STABILIZING

The problem of political leadership in contemporary Russia is discussed from both theoretical» and methodological positions. Analytical approaches towards this problem are mentioned. Power institution functioning is given through the axis of history and politics. The key idea of the article emphasizes Russian political leadership as a dominating one. This is the basic factor of political life and Russian political process. The danger is the following political leadership can be transformed into individual power or corporative group power. Nevertheless, this sort of dander wouldn't hamper the whole process of central power and its institutions stabilizing.
