Synthesis and structure of transition metal complexes of 3-(o-nitrophenyl)-5,5-dimethyl-5,6-dihydro-1,2,4-triazolo[3,4-a]isoquinoline

Eleven complexes of chromium(III), iron(III), cobalt(II), copper(II), and zinc salts with 3-(o-nitrophenyl)-5,5-dimethyl-5,6-dihydro-1,2,4-triazolo[3,4-a] isoquinoline (L1) were synthesized. A single crystal of the [CuL 2 1Cl2]·2C3H6O complex was isolated and studied by X-ray crystallography. All compounds were studied by IR and electronic spectroscopy.
