К ВОПРОСУ МОТИВАЦИИ ВЗРОСЛЫХ ПРИ ИЗУЧЕНИИ ИНОСТРАННОГО ЯЗЫКА В ДИСТАНЦИОННОМ ФОРМАТЕ

Самообразование сегодня не только престижно, но и является инструментом построения успешной карьеры, что делает актуальным изучение иностранных языков за пределами учебных программ школ и институтов. Применение информационных обучающих технологий меняет учебный процесс и делает необходимым выявление ключевых факторов в формировании новых методик обучения и активизации мотивации взрослых обучающихся в быстро меняющейся глобальной ситуации, в том числе связанной с пандемией COVID - 19. Создание on-line-школ и on-line-курсов иностранных языков является трендом последнего десятилетия. Мотивированность учащихся является действенным средством повышения успешности изучения иностранных языков. Современная психология включает классические подходы к изучению мотивации, в рамках которых разработаны практические модели учебной мотивации. Выделение взрослых учащихся как отдельной группы, изучающей иностранные языки, оправдано тем, что их мотивированность опирается на другие компоненты мотивации, чем мотивация студентов высших учебных заведений и школьников. Постулируется необходимость изучения как положительной, так и отрицательной роли информационных обучающих технологий в формировании мотивированности взрослых при изучении иностранного языка.

MOTIVATION OF ADULT STUDENTS TO LEARN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE IN A DISTANCE FORMAT

Self-education today is not only prestigious, but also a tool for building a successful career, which makes it relevant to study foreign languages outside the curriculum of schools and institutes. The use of computer teaching technologies is changing the educational process and the role of teaching aids used in the process of teaching a foreign language. It is necessary to identify key factors in the formation of new teaching methods and to intensify the motivation of adult learners in a rapidly changing global situation, including those associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. The creation of on-line schools and on-line courses of foreign languages is a trend of the last decade. The motivation of students is an effective means of increasing the success of learning foreign languages. The allocation of adult students as a separate group studying foreign languages is justified by the fact that their motivation is based on other components of motivation than the motivation of students of higher educational institutions and schoolchildren. It postulates the need to study both the positive and negative roles of information teaching technologies in shaping the motivation of adults in learning a foreign language.
