n this research, we are trying to shed light on the promotion and development of political science education in the Arab world, through the march taken by the Science of Arab Politics. These departments attach special importance to political science disciplines, given the role that political studies play in the political process and the graduation of elites and specialized competencies in various fields of political science. In addition, the leading role in the overall political process is shared only in terms of political advice, academic work or external political decision-making. Although the indicators of Arab political life, in general, have not improved in the real circulation of power, they have witnessed a degree of openness and democratic reforms in the structures of their political systems since the early 1990s, which are positive shifts towards democratization. The ultimate purpose is to know the different political trends that have emerged at a different stage of human history and to benefit from them in establishing an open, responsible, and democratic society, which can deal with the difficulties in society by creating theories and a future democratic vision stemming from its main sources and developing the capacities to resolve social and political issues. Knowing the challenges presented to the realities of Arab countries, and the priorities of education and research in the field of political science, and the extent to which teaching and research trends in the field of political science are related to the issues and challenges posed to the Arab reality. The article relied on the analytical approach through which the challenges and priorities of education and research in the field of political science in the Arab world were identified.
