The article shows the role of public-private partnership (PPP) in Asian countries - China, India, Japan. There is an increase in the importance of PPP projects in these countries in the 21st century and the success of this area of public-private cooperation, which allows the state to solve important social problems on the basis of joint financing, i.e. to reduce budget costs and minimize risks. At the same time, a number of problems remain in this area, which the authors draw attention to, namely: a weak level of development of the regulatory framework, insufficient projects in the field of innovation, a serious lag in the pace of development of public-private partnership from the level that exists in Western countries.
