USING GEOCHEMICAL INDICATORS TO DETERMINE THE DEGREE OF OVERGROWTH OF DESERTS (USING PRIMARY DATA ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE SARYKUM SAND COMPLEX)

Based on the primary data, chemical and mineralogical compositions were obtained. Using the geochemical data, various indices were calculated. It is proposed to use the WIS index to study and monitor the process of desert overgrowth.
