EFFECT OF SPHERICAL MIRROR DECENTERING ON THE ACCURACY OF THE STANDARD INTERFEROGRAM MODEL

Effects that are quadratic in terms of decentering of the mirrors in a Fizeau interferometer and are ignored in standard interferogram processing have essentially no effect on calibration but are important in coordinating the positions of the elements of a segmented mirror in terms of an interferogram.
