В статье рассмотрена история возникновения 54-го африканского государства Южный Судан, показана роль армии. Особое внимание уделено анализу основных документов и этапов переговорного процесса по урегулированию проблемы Юга, позиций различных руководителей Судана.

Difficult Road to Independence (Proclamation of the Republic of South Sudan)

The article examines the history of the emergence of the 54th African State of South Sudan and shows the role of the army. Special attention is devoted to analysis of basic documents and stages of the negotiation process for resolving the problem of the South, as well as the positions of various leaders of Sudan.
