ИСТОРИЧЕСКИЕ КОРНИ ВЗАИМООТНОШЕНИЙ РОССИИ И ЭФИОПИИ

На широком историческом материале дана ретроспектива становления российско-эфиопских отношений на протяжении XIX-XX вв. Показана роль российских дипломатов, действовавших при дворе эфиопского императора. Особенное внимание уделено анализу взаимодействия России и Эфиопии в период колониального раздела и деколонизации Восточной Африки.

Historic Background of Relations between Russia and Ethiopia

The article gives a retrospective review of Russian and Ethiopian relations development in the 19-20 centuries on the basis of a number of historical sources. The article dwells on the role of the Russian diplomats working at court of the Ethiopian emperor. Special attention is paid to the analysis of Russian and Ethiopian interaction during colonial allotment and decolonization of East Africa.
