RADICAL RIGHT-WING PARTIES IN WESTERN EUROPE

The influence of right-wing radical parties has doubled in electoral indicators from the 1960s to 2016. In most European countries there is at least one successful right-wing radical party. After numerous electoral successes and failures of right-wing radical parties, it can be noted that the influence of right-wing populism on European politics cannot be underestimated. Hence, the second decade of the XXI century is characterized by the growing influence of right-wing radical parties and movements in the most developed countries of Europe - Germany, France, Sweden, Austria, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway. In several European States, right-wing radical parties are represented in national parliaments. Serious electoral successes and the expansion of the parliamentary representation of right-wing radical parties at the national and supranational levels, as well as their participation in the activities of governments, allow to talk about meaningful institutional changes in the European political landscape. Right-wing radicalism has already become part of European political institutions. This study analyzes the reasons for the growth of popularity of these parties, the main problems that parties are considering and their position in the political system of Western Europe at the present time.
