TRADITIONAL ECOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE AWARENESS

The incorporation of indigenous knowledge into scientific studies is relevant as it provides us with information based on experience obtained over decades of human interaction with nature. The article presents people's awareness and interest in this sphere and defines the role of traditional ecological knowledge in terms of biodiversity and ecosystem services.
