Heteroleptic palladium(II) complexes with amino acids and ATP

Heteroleptic complexes Pd(Ala)(ATP2-), Pd(Ser)(ATP 2-), Pd(Glu)(ATP2-), and Pd(Asp)(ATP2-) were synthesized and studied. Alanine (Ala), serine (Ser), glutamic acid (Glu), and aspartic acid (Asp) function as monodentate neutral ligands (Pd(II)-NH 2 bonds); the ATP2- anion is tridentate due to the N-7 atom of the heterocycle and oxygen atoms of the phosphato groups.
